So, after that train wreck of set last Friday, we've changed our sound a wee bit - not quite as "burly", meaning that we're no longer playing in C standard, basically because it's too muddy. Up to D standard, it is. The new tuning does make the songs sound, for the most part, better. We'll really be able to notice the difference this weekend...when we record!

EMOTHT is going up to Nashville to record with our friend Bryan Sveum on Thursday night, then we're hanging out like a bunch of no-good hoodlums during the day on Friday, and finally capping the night off by playing at the Muse with Ruiner, Die Young, Hollywood and the Ackleys. If you can make it, you should; it'll be fun.

Unfortunately, we're not playing the show at Cave9 on Sunday anymore; Allan will be out of town, so we're having to drop off. We're for sure playing in November, and I think we may have a show lined up in August, so we'll play again here, soon. And then we'll have demos!
